Neoplastic Gastrointestinal Pathology

This book will provide a concise, visual approach to guide the practicing pathologist to a clear analysis and diagnosis of the wide range of gastrointestinal specimens. Coverage is comprehensive and includes the full GI tract. For each entity there is a concise text description of the key points of the entity - definition; morphologic features; differential diagnosis; diagnostic features; special issues (e.g., clinical considerations to note). The text will support a set of images that will highlight differential diagnostic features, frequently seen variants that may lead to misclassification or missed diagnosis of the lesion, and correlated molecular or immunologic techniques where appropriate.
