Eustachio Nettis is Director of the Allergic Dermatology Unit at the University Hospital of Bari Policlinico, and qualified Associate Professor of Medicine. After receiving his medical degree from the University of Bari Aldo Moro in 1984, he specialized there in Allergic Diseases and later in Dermatology, with honors. He has ample experience in teaching to upper graduates in Allergy and Clinical Immunology, and acted as consultant at the Ospedale Militare “Bonomo” in Bari for over ten years. While being elected Vice President of the Italian Society for Allergology, Asthma and Clinical Immunology (SIAAIC) for the 2017-2019 and 2019-2021 mandates, he also continues as Section Editor for the journal Clinical Molecular Allergy. His main research focus is on allergic and dermatological diseases, particularly on Patch tests methodology and his clinical activities include outpatient and inpatient follow up for allergic diseases, clinical immunology and dermatological diseases. He is author and coauthor of more than 200 full papers in peer-reviewed journals on different topics in the field of Allergy, Clinical Immunology and Dermatology and authored books and chapters on general allergic diseases, dermatology, immunology and allergy.
Giovanni Angelini is Full Professor of Clinical Dermatology University of Bari, Italy. Specialist in Dermatology and Venereal Diseases. Head of the Division Unit of Dermatology, University of Bari; retirement in 2011. Past Member of the Editorial Board of various international and Italian Dermatological journals, Past President of the Italian Society of Allergological Professional and Environmental Dermatology. Author of over 600 scientific publications, including Books on general Dermatology, Allergological and Professional Dermatology, Aquatic Dermatology, Mycobacterial Skin Infections, and chapter in volumes on Dermatology, Immunology and Occupational Medicine. His main research interests include the areas of immunologic, allergic and environmental diseases.
